Know someone who would thrive on an apprenticeship, or a business that could benefit from apprenticeship training? Refer them to Apprenticeship Connect and be rewarded when your referral is successful.

Referral rewards

There are two ways to refer, each with its own reward once the eligibility criteria have been met.

Learner referral

£50 per successful referral

Refer a learner

Know someone who would benefit from starting an apprenticeship? Refer them to Apprenticeship Connect.

The referred learner must meet the relevant apprenticeship eligibility requirements
The reward becomes payable once they successfully start their apprenticeship and attend their first lesson
There is no limit to how many successful learner referrals you can make

Employer referral

£300 per successful referral

Refer an employer

Introduce a business that could benefit from apprenticeship training and support.

The referred employer must successfully onboard with Apprenticeship Connect
The reward becomes payable once they generate at least one apprentice start
The higher reward reflects the additional value of introducing a new employer

Please note: submitting a referral does not automatically qualify you for a reward. Rewards are only paid once the relevant eligibility criteria above have been met, and once the person or business you are referring has confirmed they are happy to be contacted by Apprenticeship Connect.

Terms and conditions

Eligibility

The AC Referral Scheme is open to existing learners, candidates, employer contacts and other appropriate referrers with a relationship with Apprenticeship Connect. A referral must be submitted via the official referral form before any contact is made with the referred learner or business.

Learner referrals

A reward of £50 is payable per successful referral.
A referral is successful once the referred learner meets the relevant apprenticeship eligibility requirements and successfully starts their apprenticeship programme with AC – attends their first lesson.
There is no limit to the number of successful learner referrals a single referrer can make.

Employer referrals

A reward of £300 is payable per successful referral.
A referral is successful once the referred employer successfully onboards with AC and generates at least one apprentice start.

Payment terms

The learner must be on programme for 30 days from their apprenticeship start date.
Payment to the relevant party is made within 7 working days of receipt of bank details for the payment to be made.
We’ll request bank details once the learner has qualified.

General conditions

Submitting a referral does not automatically qualify the referrer for a reward. Rewards are only payable once the relevant eligibility criteria have been met in full.
Referrers must confirm that the person or business being referred has consented to being contacted by AC.
AC reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the referral scheme, including reward amounts and eligibility criteria, at any time.
AC’s decision on the eligibility and validity of any referral is final.
