The Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship is the perfect introduction for an entry-level teaching professional looking to gain a certified qualification.
During this course, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills required to take an active role in supporting your students, participate in team meetings and contribute effectively to planning class activities.
Learners are not required to contribute towards the course cost in any way. Apprenticeship courses are paid for by the employer and/or the UK government.

During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn the required knowledge, skills and behaviours for you to become a qualified teaching professional. You’ll cover a variety of topics in your Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship, including:Â
As you approach the end of your apprenticeship, we allow for a three-month period for you to prepare for and sit your apprenticeship assessment. For this apprenticeship standard, you will be assessed in the following ways:
To make our apprenticeships as accessible as possible, all of our teaching is delivered online by our expert tutors. You’ll have access to our e-learning platform, where you can access all of your lesson materials, additional resources and assignment submissions.
You’ll be supported by our team of expert tutors who have an employment background in teaching and can bring their experience to your education.Â
