Job title: Recruitment Resourcer – Apprenticeship

Location: East Croydon

Wage: £6 Per Hour

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm

Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course

Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

About the role:

Your role will be to ensure the smooth operation of our weekly payroll service and that all of our agency workers are compliant in line with client and government requirements. Our set up is very modern, utilising the latest technology to ensure as easy a process as possible.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Payroll
  • Submit temporary workers timesheets on MVS in line with relevant deadlines
  • Ensure workers timesheets are approved by authorised approvers
  • Ensure timesheets submitted are accurate
  • Chase workers if timesheets are not submitted in line with relevant deadlines
  • Compliance
  • Verify workers eligibility to work in the UK, using the relevant government resources and guidelines.
  • Verify candidates references in line with clients’ requirements.
  • Carry out candidate compliance checks, ensuring all documentation is signed and returned by candidate
  • File candidates’ compliance in accordance with internal guidelines
  • General Administration
  • Format candidates’ CV in line with company templates and guidelines
  • To answer telephone queries, resolving enquiries and providing advice and information on a wide range of general and specific issues
  • To ensure all enquiries, correspondence, compliments and complaints are properly logged on the relevant database and are sent to the appropriate team for a response within the stated deadline


The successful candidate will have the following:


  • Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, processes, and procedures
  • Competent in a range of IT systems and software
  • Ability to work with others to achieve objectives and provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing.
  • Accuracy and ability to prioritise and organise own workload.
