Job title: Recruitment Administrator – Business Administrator Apprenticeship
Location: Basildon, Essex
Wage: £12,000 per annum
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm (40 hours a week)
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

My client is a leading compliance and energy support services group that performs critical functions in homes, public and commercial buildings across the UK and globally. Established over 30 years ago they have become one of the largest group of organisations within their sector and employee over 2,000 people. They are currently seeking an Recruitment administrator to join their head office in Basildon, Essex.

Job duties and responsibilities:

As a member of the Recruitment team, you will assist in the day-to-day work of the team, which will involve liaising with colleagues across the Company, external organisations as required, and members of the public

  • To gain an understanding of the Recruitment function and the wider HR Department within which it sits
  • To be responsible for supporting a range of Recruitment projects and initiatives
  • To provide administration to underpin the Recruitment function
  • Ensuring that all active vacancies are accurately advertised adhering to legislative and best practice standards and routinely update
  • Update and maintain company database
  • Support the Recruitment Manager with all aspects of the selective recruitment process
  • Maintain the career opportunities section on the Sureserve website
  • Liaise with HR to ensure that all ”new starter paperwork has been completed in a timely manner and assist with preparing contracts of employment
  • Answering telephone calls and taking accurate messages
  • General administration duties, printing, filing and scanning etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Recruitment Manager or other pertinent manager
