Job title: Reception & Data Administrator – Apprenticeship

Location: City of London
Wage: £14,000 per Annum
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

About the role:

My client is an investment research, investor relations and consulting firm, with offices in North America, Europe, and Asia Pac. Your role as a receptionist and data administrator will include 50% of your time performing duties that will be assisting the office manage as well as 50% of your time dedicated to administrative task.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Meeting and greeting all clients in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Answering external calls (Alcatel switchboard), directing internally and dealing with any enquiries.
  • Management of (8 rooms) and the meeting room diary through Outlook.
  • Dealing with couriers, deliveries etc.
  • Ordering and presenting refreshments for working lunches.
  • Primary responsibility for the accurate and timely input of business cards
  • Assist in the Purchase Order process for UK staff and assist with monthly office expense reconciliation
  • Undertake additional accounts administrative and data input as and when required
  • Additional ad hoc support across the business

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Working knowledge of relevant systems, equipment, processes and procedures
  • Competent in a range of IT systems and software
  • Ability to work with others to achieve objectives and provide excellent customer service
  • Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing
  • Accuracy and ability to prioritise and organise own workload
