Job title: Practise Administrator – Apprenticeship
Location: Birmingham
Wage: £10,000 per annum
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

My client is an independent financial advisers (IFA) based in Harborne, Birmingham, specialising in Insurance, Pensions, Mortgages and life cover.

Job duties and responsibilities:

To provide administrative support to the practice (Affinity Wealth) and the Practice Principal to ensure the efficient processing of business, effective management of day-to-day tasks and that our clients receive the expected high level of service when contacting the practice. Duties include:

  • Answering phone calls/transferring calls
  • Filing incoming and outgoing mail
  • Scanning/shredding/photocopying
  • Customer service/dealing with general enquiries
  • Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Data entry
  • Manage the reception desk and initial client contact
  • Manage the Principals diary booking in all relevant forms
  • Manage the general practice post

The successful candidate will have the following:
