Job title: Control Room Administrator – Apprenticeship
Location: Lambeth North 
Wage: £10,920
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

My client is London’s largest independent Service & Maintenance Company.

Their core services are Plumbing & Heating and have been offering these services to Londoners for more than 33 years. The company has expanded organically, they have added additional services to the company, under their umbrella, and are now in the position to offer a complete property maintenance service.

Job duties and responsibilities:

You will work closely with our control team managers and report directly into them. Providing on-going support are helping with the following;

  • Managing and updating engineer job boards.
  • Dealing with Subcontractor Holiday’s & Availability
  • Liaising with engineers to book follow on jobs for customers and manage engineer diaries.
    • Answering incoming calls and assisting customers with specific enquiries and job bookings.
    • Allocate jobs to engineers that are most logistically effective.
    • Updating worksheets with relevant status of each customer job.
    • Data input into key reports and records

 

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment with a positive Can-Do attitude.
  • To be able to follow direct instructions, an attentive listener and a confident communicator.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
