Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7.5 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

Due to continued success with their apprenticeship scheme, they are currently seeking an administration assistant to support two of the senior management team. The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a career within the administration industry.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Assisting with preparation for, and follow up actions from, meetings. This includes scheduling and planning time for meeting preparation, drafting and coordination of papers, scheduling meetings, monitoring and undertaking follow up actions.
  • Providing administrative support for the implementation and smooth running of a number of key projects and work streams, including meeting scheduling, preparation of minutes and associated action trackers and actions as well as following upon actions and ensuring meetings are run in an efficient manner
  • Capturing, documenting and producing associated reports
  • Focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience through all tasks, projects and processes
  • To be a point of contact with other departments across Pearson as required
  • To engage with the purchase order, invoicing and contracting processing
  • Managing complex, conflicting business diaries including organisation of itineraries, acting quickly to short notice changes, rescheduling and cancellation of appointments with tact.
  • Coordinate and plan trips, including arranging appropriate travel, visas, agendas and necessary contacts, country information, and other necessary preparations.
