WHAT IS CORONAVIRUS?
There has been a recent rise in cases of coronavirus in the UK which causes COVID-19, a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. The current risk of coronavirus to the public in the UK has been raised by the UK Chief Medical Officers from moderate to high. Current government guidance includes social distancing for vulnerable groups and self-isolation for those displaying, or living with someone displaying symptoms of coronavirus including a fever and/or a new continuous cough. We recommend all employers advise their apprentices to follow all official guidance as closely as possible to minimise their risk of infection at this challenging time and follow government guidance if they feel unwell.
We appreciate this is a challenging time for all and we wish to reassure you we are working tirelessly to ensure we are able to continue our operations with minimal disruption to the high-quality service we aim to provide.

ADJUSTMENTS TO TRAINING
The safety of our learners is our first priority and we will be monitoring official guidance closely to ensure we operate lawfully and in their best interests. We have moved all training sessions to remote delivery via our video conference facility, Zoom.
Zoom allows us to conduct remote training sessions to groups, one-to-one tutorials and additional learning support via video call using mobile, tablet and computer technology. This will allow us flexibility to continue to support learning and development at a distance wherever required and minimise disruption to learning as a result of any social distancing or self-isolation requirements that arise as a result of the coronavirus. Our tutors will be contacting their apprentices and the employers supporting them to inform them of any adjustments to training over the coming weeks.
ADJUSTMENT TO OFFICE-BASED ACTIVITY
As a business, we have made the decision to move all sales and training centre activity away from the office to reduce the potential risk to our employees so we are able to continue to support you. Therefore, all our sales and training centre team have been moved to working remotely, all office lines have been diverted to mobiles and you will be able to reach us as normal. Additionally, we have requested all our employees refrain from attending client meetings, holding face-to-face candidate interviews and attending the office until further notice and instead we will be moving all activity to video conferencing via Zoom.
We hope you can appreciate this decision has been made with in the best interests of our candidates, apprentices and employees to ensure we minimise public interaction in line with government guidance of social distancing to reduce the spread of infection. Video conferencing will allow us to continue to service business needs at a safe distance and reduce the risk to our employees and yours.
