Course duration: 18 months

The Assistant Accountant Level 3 apprenticeship is an excellent programme for those looking to build foundational skills and take the next step in a finance or accounting career. 

As an assistant accountant, you’ll have a key role in managing financial data, preparing and analysing reports, supporting budgeting processes and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. 

Course fees

Learners are not required to contribute towards the course cost in any way. Apprenticeship courses are paid for by the employer and/or the UK government.

Eligibility Criteria

- Meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria.
- Meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths.
- To not already hold an early years qualification at level 2 or above.

During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn the required knowledge, skills and behaviours for you to become a level 3 qualified accounting professional. To achieve this you’ll cover a variety of topics that include: 

As you approach the end of your apprenticeship, we allow for a three-month period for you to prepare for and sit your End Point Assessment (EPA). For this apprenticeship standard, you will be assessed in the following ways:

To make our apprenticeships as accessible as possible, all of our teaching is delivered online by our expert tutors. You’ll have access to our e-learning platform, Canvas, where you can access all of your lesson materials, additional resources and assignment submissions.

You’ll be supported by our team of expert tutors who have an employment background in accounting and can bring their experience to your education.
