Course entry requirements: GCSE Maths and English with grades between A-C desired but not essential

About the company:

My client is the UK’s largest supplier of custom printed plastic cards across UK and Europe and are on the lookout for a hands on, hardworking and outgoing team member to join our bureau team. Our bureau department is responsible for printing photo ID, membership, loyalty, event passes and season tickets for a number of the UK’s largest brands.

About the role:

Your main duties will be to assist the general day to day duties in running the Printer and Software support department reporting to the Printer Technical Manager. You will be providing support to customers which is a key role within the company. You will be using bespoke software and equipment with full training provided.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Supporting EasyBadge ID printing software
  • Repair of ID card printing Equipment
  • Overcoming technical problems through troubleshooting and diagnosis of software equipment
  • Helping out with other admin tasks in the support department
  • Answer phone calls and respond via email
  • Generate electronic content (template emails, videos, info graphics) to help with support

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Knowledge of graphic/video software would be an advantage but not essential
  • Passion for technology
  • Good troubleshooting skills
