Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7.5 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

About the role:

My client is give the opportunity for emerging and boutique brands to have a presence in major high street Department Stores, and for host stores to offer a wider variety to their customers. They can be found in major high street department stores throughout the UK, Eire and Europe. They operate purely as a service between brands and host store partners, providing the best service to benefit all parties.

They now have their own warehouse and an e-fulfilment facility in Greater Manchester, which also includes an onsite fully equipped photography studio. From personal knowledge and experience as retailers, they understand the challenging world of fashion retailing. They offer a one-stop-shop, end to end solution to retailers, from trading in store and online to e-fulfilment, processing, AQL, pick and pack and third party logistics.

Job duties and responsibilities:

Trading duties:

  • Analyse weekly sales figures and interpret them in order to communicate to Internal and External departments, highlighting appropriate opportunities to drive sales and profit.
  • Communication with Brand Team, Brands and Hosts with trend and performance information to influence actions and decision making to maximise potential profit.
  • Keeping and monitoring sales trend information and use this to provide forecasts as and when required.
  • Awareness of performance to Targets to assess priorities in terms of impact on the business.
  • Manage resource around copy and photography
  • Ability to follow business process and protocol.

Analysis/Administration duties:

  • Stores, Space management – Keep up to date accurate space information and work with the Brand team to ensure all space in stores is filled with the most suitable Brand mix to maximise the sales and density potential. Communicate as necessary to Host’s, Brands and Retail teams.
  • E-Commerce – Manage online store categories and product listings carrying out the required administration to support the Brands in stock delivery to e-commerce warehouse.
  • Dealing with daily phone and e-mail queries from Customers, Brands, Field Team and Hosts.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • IT skills including MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Strong analytical & numerical skills
  • Good communication skills, both orally and in writing to develop excellent relationships
  • Able to prioritise and multi task
  • Passionate and excited by fashion in order to operate in a fast paced, ever evolving Company
  • Eagerness to learn and develop to progress career in Retail
  • Sleeves rolled up approach
