Location: East London – Docklands area
Wage: £206.00 per week (£10,725 per annum)
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: 9:00am -5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course
Course entry requirements: GCSEs at grade C/level 4 or above in English and Maths

The patented technology allows doctors to improve their diagnostic efficiency and accuracy via a set of software and hardware tools. They have many partnerships with Universities and Hospitals with the plan to expand their research and development by fusing technologies from the video game to the medical industries.

This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice office administrator, to obtain experience in one of the fastest developing sectors of IT, that of medical IT, and to work and interact with a group of recognised scientists and professionals in the field. Job duties and responsibilities:

Personal Assistant duties

  • Organise shared calendars for the 2 directors
  • Organise meetings/ travelling and accommodation
  • Minutes during meetings

Junior marketing administrator

  • Organise/Manage participation in trade shows (mostly overseas)
  • Manage the company website
  • Perform junior market research tasks
  • Create/manage marketing collateral portfolio (brochures, presentations etc.)
  • Create/manage various icons used in the product (with the guidance of an artistic developer)

Office administrator

  • Answer phones
  • Make sure the office is presentable when important visitors are expected.
  • Deposit cheques
  • Manage mail
  • Organise meetings/travelling and accommodation for the sale force
  • Maintain the shared contact list
  • Manage the company’s CRM solution
  • Manage the company’s file server
  • Manage HR activities and records


  • Using Sage online, enter invoices, receipts, orders etc.
  • Working with a part time CFO who will be responsible for monthly and annual reports
  • Working with a part time CFO to establish accounting systems, structures and methods and review them monthly

Technical author

  • Manage the update of the product manuals.
  • Manage the technical bulletins of the product
  • Create/manage product CBTs
