Job title: Junior Office Assistant

Location: Westside, Birmingham

Wage: £9,100-£10,000 per annum

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Mon-Fri (8am-4pm)

Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course

Course entry requirements: GCSEs studied in English & Math

Apprenticeship course available: Business Adminsitrator Level 2

About the role:

My client dealwith all aspects of patient referrals for medical appointments. This includes monitoring the number of referrals received, requesting any further information that may be required, liaising with GPs, patients and reps to ensure that records are kept up to date, arranging appointments and ensuring that difficult cases are escalated.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Managing patient clinic times
  • Monitoring DNA rates
  • Booking patients in for appointments and confirming appointments by phone
  • Faxing reports to GPs
  • Facilitating clinic sessions
  • Coordinating communications for clinicians and management team
  • Ensuring leaflets, appointment letter, up to date and accessible
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of excellent relations and communications within all clinics and with all external agencies
  • Project Managers.
