Job title: Nursery Nurse- Apprenticeship

Location:  Greater London E13

Wage: £9,945 Per annum

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 8 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Supporting the staff and management in providing the highest level of support and learning
• Contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Nursery.
• To plan and contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area in conjunction with other staff.
• Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
• To be flexible within working practices of nursery. Be prepared to help where needed, including to undertake certain domestic jobs within the Nursery, eg: preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment etc.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive environment for the children
• Observations and write ups on children’s development

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Be passionate about childcare
• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Scheme (EYFS)
• Have great communication skills
• Be ambitious and hard working
