Job details:

Business Development Executives are responsible for commercial growth through acquiring and retaining clients to increase business revenue. The role is responsible for developing opportunities in specific markets from lead generation activity, through to client consultations and account management. As a business, we have developed a number of new apprenticeship standards which are due to commence in the coming months. Therefore, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join our growing London sales team to generate employer interest and drive growth in both new and existing markets.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Generate new business through initiatives, proactive marketing and develop new streams of business from existing accounts
  • Lead generation/lead conversion
  • Coordinate and assist with the delivery of agreed services, including recruitment and training
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of funding methodology, funding rules and compliance requirements
  • Secure service level agreements (SLA) with employers
  • To be a point of contact for new business from existing accounts
  • Maximise revenue and commercial opportunities from existing accounts
  • Ensure ongoing client satisfaction through regular review of ongoing account performance
  • Contract management and compliance
  • Conduct business consultations and training needs analysis with clients
  • Become a regional market specialist in specified business industries/sectors

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • Recent and proven experience within the apprenticeship industry
  • Experienced in building and maintaining a sales pipeline
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a record of influencing and motivating others
  • A confident communicator with the ability to deal with potential employers, key decision makers and wider members of the public
  • Solid experience in working in a target driven sales environment
  • Competent in maths & English (GSCE grade C or above) and IT proficient
