Job title: Assistant Administrator – Apprenticeship
Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire
Wage: £10,000 per annum
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: 9-5.30, Monday to Friday, although flexibility may be taken into consideration for start/finish times.
Time spent in training: You are required to spend a minimum of 7 hours per week in training that supports your apprenticeship course

About the role:

My client is a progressive and forward thinking Accountancy Practice based in South Hertfordshire/North London boarders, with offices also in Mayfair.

Their prime goal is to play a positive and creative role in the financial planning of the business and personal affairs of their clients and to maximise their profits.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • General administration duties across all departments within the Firm
  • Maintaining general tidiness, cleanliness & replenishment of meeting room supplies of meeting rooms and general areas. At present across two different sites, but this will increase to 3 sites in the summer
  • Answering and directing phone calls promptly and politely
  • Relief reception cover
  • Arranging and processing tracked and special deliveries & organising couriers
  • Organise and schedule appointments
  • Order office and kitchen supplies, ensuring sufficient stock of supplies in each kitchen each day, research new deals and suppliers
  • Act as the point of contact and provide general support for internal and external clients

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Well versed in the use of MS Office and overall good IT skills
  • A great eye for detail and excellent organisational skills
  • The ability to maintain the honesty and integrity of the firm
  • Be able to handle confidential information, so it is vital you’ll be able to work within this kind of environment and understand the importance of non-disclosure of information.
  • Excellent communication skills (Confident telephone manner, writing skills)
  • Being able to work with a team
