About the company and role:

My client is a creative communications agency specialising in place marketing.

The Account Executive acts as a link between our company and our clients and you are responsible for the administration and coordination of marketing projects and campaigns within the wider Account Handling team.

You must be able to communicate effectively and understand our clients’ needs and objectives and liaise closely with them throughout projects, often on a daily basis. You will support key functions throughout the agency, manage the administration of a project, ensuring it is delivered on time and on budget alongside an Account Manager. You will report into the Client Services Director.

The role is generally office-based, travel within the working day is frequent as the Account Executive is expected to visit clients and agents.

Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Working with agency colleagues from different teams (digital, creative, finance) to devise campaigns and project plans that meets the client’s brief and budget
  • Undertaking administrative tasks and following internal processes including entering information into Synergist, our project management tool
  • Invoicing and quoting;
  • Carrying out research and helping to inform and assist in the formulation of marketing strategies and proposals
  • Managing the process for amends and updates throughout a project
  • Handling budgets and managing campaign costs;
  • Writing client reports;
  • Obtaining supplier quotes and building supplier relationships;
  • Arranging and attending meetings;
  • Juggling multiple projects and clients.
  • Assisting with project reporting
  • Making photography arrangements

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills;
  • A proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative and turn your hand to anything;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • The ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly, while maintaining attention to detail;
  • Effective team working and interpersonal skills;
  • An interest in marketing and communications;
  • A quick learner with appetite to progress
  • Resilience, to enable you to deal with problems and constructive criticism
  • Ability to work well within a team and support colleagues
